Another View From The Ground (Anti ISA March)

Here’s another video from the August 1 Anti-ISA March taken and edited by my friend, Sam Hui. Unfortunately, he accidentally had his audio turned off so the live commentary all went to waste. Nonetheless, you get to see the ISA Monster in this clip!

Such A Dangerous Malaysian Crowd

I meant those in uniforms and weapons, of course.   Of the 438 arrested today, 50 remain in custody, including the Member of Parliament for Subang, Sivarasa Rasiah. Efforts are being expended to get them released by tonight.   Malaysiakini’s photographs from the event can be viewed here.

JUST Children Needs Your Help

One of the causes I highlighted in my birthday wish(es) post is the JUST Children Project (I erronously referred to it as the JUST Kids Project in the post). Activists Of Malicious Slander & Rumours?

The Prime Minister was kind enough to remind students not to become activists of what he terms as “malicious slander and rumours”. Wouldn’t op-eds like this that [...]

Has The Plot Thickened Or Is Someone Just Thick?

One of the conspiracy theories surrounding the death of Teoh Beng Hock is that the deceased was on the verge of exposing some high level corruption and collusion of representatives of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) with the underworld. He was hence disposed of by these elements who managed to infiltrate the offices of the [...]
