Live Telecast Of Statutory Declaration By Witness On Altantuya's Case

[video widget removed .. slowing down my site]

If you're lucky, you might be able to catch the audio feed.

Basically we have a statutory declaration from the first prosecution witness, P. Subramaniam, that he had seen evidence implicating the Deputy Prime Minister on the "predicament" with Altantuya Sharibuu. Apparently it involves a US$ 500,000 commission promised on the purchase of certain naval hardware from a Western European country. The story's still unfolding but I've just lost my audio feed. Sigh ..

Update (1207)

Ah .. great .. its back

Update (1219)

Audio feed down again but here's the gist :

  • Najib Tun Razak introduced "Amina" aka Altantuya Sharibuu to Abdul Razak Baginda at a diamond exhibition in Singapore

  • NTR had also informed ARB that he had carnal relations with AS

  • NTR, ARB and AS had dinner together in gay Paree

  • US$500,000 was asked for by AS to ARB as commission for facilitating the purchase of naval submersibles aka submarines

  • NTR asked ARB to "gao dim" (ie. take care) of AS as he no longer wanted to be bothered by her considering his newfound position as Deputy Prime Minister
My connection dropped right in the middle of the Q & A session. But it does seem like the kaka has hit the fan.

Update (1231)

Oh yeah .. all these and more were apparently told to the police when the Subramaniam guy was interrogated but none of it surface during the court hearing when he was questioned by the prosecution.
